Peru tours that delve deeper

Thank you again for a truly wonderful trip. What was the highlight? Before I went I was sure it would be the land diving. Now I would have to say, hiking up an active volcano and looking down into it! That was simply incredible! Staying on Hideaway Island was another of my favourite parts… and the kayaking, and snorkeling, and the sunrises and sunsets. Every day was different and every day was a highlight. It was the best organized tour I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on quite a few.

Superb! It felt like my husband and I were seeing the magical Sacred Valley and no one else was around but the people of the Andes. I love the way Aldo and Paul took the back roads, so we got to see how people really live and avoid the other tours, and stopped when we saw a festival going on, so that we could go visit. That was really special to have them do that!

Biking in the Andes caused my heart to fly. Putting into words the magic of this trip is a challenge. The bike riding and the scenery were amazing (and I live 30 minutes from the Rockies in CO!). The magic goes deeper--- I learned about the local population, the Inca history, the natural world, the foods and more from our incredible guide, Luis. The other guides and staff were also amazing: Will, Josh, Walter, Ruben, Johan, Abraham....they all felt like family; we could joke them and totally trusted them.
