Peru tours that delve deeper

The level of personal attention was far better than other guided trips I’ve taken in the past. Organization, flexibility, communication are key words to describe the pre-trip experience. You helped us make the connection with the 'real' Peru, not the one that tourists generally see. If all of your guides are remotely as good as Aldo you are very lucky.

It was an amazing trip, one of the best I've ever taken (right up there with my trek across Asia in 1990-91), and I'd have to say without question the best we've taken with the kids. I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciated Aldo and Oscar as guides, each great in his own way. Aldo is such a gentle spirit, an "old soul" in the true sense, and I especially loved what he taught us about Inca/Quechua spirituality and reverence for Pachamama. I think we all felt a bond with Aldo very quickly, and by the end he was part of the family. I felt no qualms trusting him with my children's safety on the trail, or anywhere else, which tells you everything you need to know.

I thought that the care and consideration taken by the guides was excellent. Also the depth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm of the guides was great. I found the people warm and friendly, and loved being part of the community in the home stays, and I loved learning about the history and culture.. Our group of international trekking friends booked a private trip with Aspiring Adventures to trek the Torres del Paine Grand Traverse and kayak in glacial waters on the Serrano River in southern Chile. We had an outstanding and memorable experience. This trip was fantastic and Aspiring Adventures did a wonderful job of planning and executing. We are already arranging our next Peru (or maybe New Zealand) trekking trip with AA.
