The overall experience exceeded my expectations. Awesome people, awesome food, awesome experience every where I went. Loved it. I got to stop and marvel at llamas sitting in the middle of the road, and to share friendly greetings with locals along the way. Enjoyed scrumptious picnic lunches and marveled as giant condors flew over head. Enjoyed every second and feel I got to experience the 'real' Peru. This trip was totally the whole package. What was the highlight? Before I went I was sure it would be the land diving. Now I would have to say, hiking up an active volcano and looking down into it! That was simply incredible! Staying on Hideaway Island was another of my favourite parts… and the kayaking, and snorkeling, and the sunrises and sunsets. Every day was different and every day was a highlight. It was the best organized tour I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on quite a few.
