Peru tours that delve deeper

Our group of international trekking friends booked a private trip with Aspiring Adventures to trek the Torres del Paine Grand Traverse and kayak in glacial waters on the Serrano River in southern Chile. We had an outstanding and memorable experience. This trip was fantastic and Aspiring Adventures did a wonderful job of planning and executing. We are already arranging our next Peru (or maybe New Zealand) trekking trip with AA.

When we found a cheap flight to Peru, we pretty much only knew Machu Pichu was there and were pretty clueless about everything else. Aspiring Adventures asked thoughtful questions about what we like and put together an amazing itinerary that we loved. The food and locations they chose were great, and whenever we needed advice, they helped us figure out exactly what we needed, whether it was the right restaurant, how to find a real pure alpaca hat, or the history behind an architectural feature, they always knew. I'm so glad they were the ones teaching us more about their beautiful country.

It has been my first experience with a pre-planned trip, and I must say I really enjoyed every minute of it (and have already recommended it to my parents). The biking was well thought and gave the option for more difficult and challenging terrain to the more skilled bikers while still giving me, a first time rider, the ability to learn the 'trade' on the fly. The archaeological sites were wonderful too, and built up from simple to Machu Picchu in a great way that introduced us to Incan style and history.
